What is mural wallpaper?
Short answer: Mural wallpaper is a large-format wall covering printed as a designed scene or image for a wall.
Unlike a small repeating roll pattern, a mural is planned as a composition. Solowalls can size the artwork to your wall and position the crop around furniture, doors and windows.
How much does custom wallpaper cost?
Short answer: Custom wallpaper starts at $2.88 per sq ft; the final price depends on wall area and the material you choose.
The editor shows the live starting rate and calculates an estimated total after you enter width and height. Material surcharges, if applicable, are added before checkout.
Can I use my own image?
Short answer: Yes. You can upload a photo, illustration or artwork that you own or have permission to reproduce.
JPG, PNG and WebP files are accepted up to 100 MB. Upload the original full-resolution file whenever possible; screenshots and social-media downloads are usually lower quality.
How is custom wallpaper priced?
Short answer: The price is calculated from wall area multiplied by the material rate, with any material surcharge included.
Enter the finished wall width and height in the editor. The system converts the measurements to square feet, calculates the area, applies the selected material rate and shows the estimated total before you add the project to your cart.
What materials are available?
Short answer: The custom editor offers Non-Woven, Vinyl, Peel and Stick, and Heavy wallpaper options when available.
Non-Woven gives a smooth finish, Vinyl is an easy-care choice, Peel and Stick is self-adhesive for suitable smooth walls, and Heavy has a thicker premium feel. Availability and any surcharge are shown in the editor.
Can wallpaper be removed?
Short answer: Peel and Stick wallpaper is designed for easier removal than paste-down wallpaper, but removal depends on wall preparation and installation.
Use a smooth, clean, dry and primed wall. Traditional or non-woven wallpaper normally requires more careful removal and may need paste softener or light wall repair.
How long does production take?
Short answer: Most custom murals require around 6–8 business days for sizing, printing, quality checks and packing before delivery.
Production timing can vary with artwork review, material availability, order volume and the requested project. Delivery time is separate from production time.
Do you ship from China?
Short answer: Yes. Orders are produced and shipped from China to most countries worldwide.

What wall measurements are required?
Short answer: Measure the full finished width and height of every wall area you want to cover.
Measure in several places and use the largest width and height. Exclude skirting boards and cornices, note doors and windows, and add about 4 inches (10 cm) to both dimensions for trimming unless the measurement guide says otherwise.
Can I order a sample?
Short answer: Yes. A4 wallpaper samples can be ordered to check colour, texture and finish at home.
View the sample option on an eligible product page and compare it in the room’s real daylight and lamp light before committing to a full-sized mural.
What happens if my image resolution is low?
Short answer: A low-resolution image may look soft or pixelated when enlarged to wall size, so upload the largest original file available.
The artwork team reviews obvious production issues, but a review cannot create missing detail. We may recommend a smaller crop, a different wall size, a higher-resolution source or a designer-assisted solution before printing.
